Hardware

1. Modem
Modem acronym derived from modulator demodulator. Modulator is a part that converts the signal into the information signal (carrier) and ready for delivery, while the Demodulator is the part that separates the information signal (which contain data or messages) received from the carrier signal so that information can be well received. Modem is the combination of both, it means the modem is a two-way communication tool. Each remote communications devices typically use two-way section called "modem", such as VSAT, microwave radio, etc., but generally the term modem is better known as the hardware that is often used for communication on the computer.

2. Soundcard
Sound card. A component contained in a PC that served to support the voice functions as a generator in the PC.

3. Motherboard

Main board (motherboard) is the circuit board where a variety of electronic components connected to each other as on a PC or Macintosh and commonly abbreviated to mobo said.
Motherboard that can be easily found in the market today is the PC's motherboard was first created on the basis of order in accordance with the specifications of the IBM PC.
Macintosh, or abbreviated as Mac, is one type of PowerPC-based personal computers manufactured by Apple. This computer is named after the McIntosh, a kind of apple you like Jef Raskin. Macintosh was first introduced in January 1984 through the Super Bowl ads are phenomenal. Macintosh was the first to introduce a computer system graphical user interface (GUI). At that time, step by Apple is a revolutionary development in the world of personal computers.

4. BIOS
BIOS stands for Basic Input Output System, the computer system IBM PC or compatibles (computer based on Intel's x86 family of processors) refers to the routine collection of software that can do the following things:
a) Initialization (ignition) as well as testing of the hardware (in a process called the Power On Self Test, POST).
b) Loading and running the operating system.
c) Set some basic configuration of the computer (date, time, storage configuration, the configuration of the boot process, performance, and stability of your computer).
d) Assisting in the operating system and application hardware setup process by using the BIOS Runtime Services.
BIOS provides low level communication interface, and can control many types of hardware (like keyboards). Because of its proximity to the hardware, the BIOS is generally made by using assembly language (assembly) that is used by the machine in question.
The term first appeared in the BIOS operating system CP / M, which is part of CP / M loaded during the booting process started dealing directly with hardware (multiple machines running CP / M has a simple boot loader in ROM). Most versions of DOS have a file called "IBMBIO.COM" (IBM PC-DOS) or "IO.SYS" (MS-DOS), which functions just as well as CP / M disk BIOS.
BIOS word can also mean "life" in Greek writings (Βίος).

5. Laptop Processors
Processor for laptops is very different from the processor for PC Computer (Desktop) regular. Very subtle differences in terms of power consumption (power) in which Laptop Processors are designed to consume minimal power and effectively as possible, considering the laptop is not always connected to a power source, but without compromising in terms of performance. In another sense, Laptop Processors are made in order to save power consumption, but with good performance.
When you are going to buy a laptop, it's worth a check and re-check the embedded processors used in laptops, because the difference once the processor will be very influential on the performance and power consumption of the laptop. And the following brief instructions on various types of laptop processors, which according to destining.

Economy Class laptops are made to meet the needs and functions of the portable computing (mobile), but with a relatively affordable price range alias "low cost. Laptop Processors used in economy class, is designed to be able to do computing standards activities, such as writing reports, browsing, playing the songs came to play a dvd (movie). One thing to be lacking processor for laptops of this class is not going to be able to play and run the latest games and graphics applications with the perfect and best performance. Some examples of processors for this class is: AMD Athlon X2 QL-60, AMD Athlon 64 X2 TK-57, AMD Turion 64 X2 RM-72, AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-60, AMD Turion X2 Ultra ZM-82, Intel Core 2 Duo P7350, Intel Core 2 Duo T5800, Intel Core 2 Duo T7300, Intel Core 2 Duo T8200, Intel Pentium Dual-Core T3400.

6. Laptops Netbooks
More mini version and cheaper than UltraPortables with many features that have been removed / deleted as well with a very limited processor capabilities. Some processor for Netbooks types are: Intel Atom N270, Intel Atom Z520, Intel Celeron M Ultra Low Voltage 900MHz, VIA C7-M, VIA Nano L2100, VIA Nano U2300.

7. Substitute Desktop Computers
This one, a laptop designed with features and has the ability to complete the equivalent of regular desktop PCs and laptops as a consequence of species present with a larger design than ultraportabel. For those of you fans the latest 3D games, then this type of laptop suitable for you, and some processors are often used in laptops of this type are: AMD Turion X2 Ultra ZM-80, Intel Core 2 Duo T8300, Intel Core 2 Duo T9400, Intel Core 2 Quad Q9000, Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9300.

thanks... Please give advice.
